The Caravelle steering wheels are a similar size (for ease of steering) but padded and slightly better looking .... available from breakers on here or Fleabay. Other wheels tend to need a boss to space it out and/or blocks out the view of the clocks, smaller wheel = heavier steering of course.

Ian.

Alright Tim :ok you can fit a range of wheels - lots of folks fit golf or Porsche wheels but if I remember rightly you need the boss to mount the wheels onto as well as the wheel.

You can always go down the route of covering the wheel with one of the padded wheel 'doufers' (Halfrauds/Argos etc etc - also have a look in the car shop in Chad or in Romac's over in Spondon)

getting off subject a little but this is a pretty tidy bus - when Tim 1st bought it it had an issue with the offisde head so I stripped/overhauled and rebuilt it for him
The bus is a Viking conversion with a really nice and un-battered interior :ok

standard caravelle ones are same size , its the power steering ones which are smaller

some early vw car ones fit , beetles, golfs ect , some have a different spline to which vw made an adapter!

lt ones also fit , but look exactly the same as the standard one except padded
