Hi All, hope evryone had a good festive couple of days.

Right down to business!

My husband and i removed the fuel tank to re-fit an isulated heating duct, after having problems replacing the tank we have now managed to get all pipes fixed and attached and the tank bolted back to Freddie.

One problem now is that nothing happens when you turn the key!

Any clues peoples?

Its the engine turning over?

It does take time to prime the fuel to the carb
if so put a small amount down the carb inlet see if that works

Engine not turning over as in dead on key

Like a flat battery?

Checkthe smaller red wire that runs to the starter motor. It's probably dropped off with fiddling about underneath. It just pushes back onto the spade connector on the starter motors solenoid.

WHS ^^^

Even if it is still connected, pull it off and give it a clean up or replace the terminal. Same thing happened to mine and it was a bad connection to the starter motor.

Thanks everyone for all your comments.

And now for the funny bit....

He hadn't pushed the main shut off lever back in!!!!!

So Freddie is now working to some degree and we have warm air filtering through.

I will just say, its the first camper my hubby has worked on so because of that i will forgive him this once :P

I assume this is a cut-off switch on the starter signal wire or a battery isolator ?
