hi everyone

i'm new to the t25 scene and have just got myself a 1981 pop top westy

i want to protect my new ride so was planning on under sealing it. After getting my van on the ramps the underside appeared not to bad

just wondered what everyone thinks? does it even need treating/sealing? what would be best and easiest to apply?

does my van have a good/average/poor underside?

look forward to your comments

Thanks, Mike

The under side looks good, thats still the original wax protection. There was a main dealer service of periodic reaplication of the wax but not many owner took it up. I find the best protection is Waxoyl underbody seal either brushed on or applied with a Shutz gun if you have a compressor.

As above, slap on the stuff in the tin with a brush. If you don't have a compressor you can get Dynax S50 in an Aerosol to protect the bit u canny get to with a brush.

If you can drop the fuel tank to get above it, also a good time to replace fuel lines.
