Not getting fuel from petrol tank

This problem has me baffled I have plenty of fuel in tank but it's not getting through. I have disconnected the fuel pipe from tank but no petrol comes out ??? I've tried giving it a blast with an air line but still no fuel Any Ideas please..milko

A blocked tank vent (more likely) or crud in the bottom of the tank will cause this.

tried sucking?
With less than a quarter tank the fuel will not flow.
More than a quarter and mine does
does the fuel pump work?
