I want to say yes but....

Faked. Enhanced at best, I reckon the camera angle is adding quite a few degrees....

Real
But Camera makes it look more acute than it really is

Looks like the Range Rovers HDC was better than the first attempts on the Freelander
I aree with eatcustard that it probably looks steeper due to lens angle, but still pretty impressive, wonder what's at the top?

real, and i recon that there are a lot of electrical sensors working very hard to make that happen, oh and a hell of a lot of power

And a great big invisible wire attatched to the back of the one going downhill............
But seriously folks, the camera operator has got to be distorting the angle - theres no way that there is enough weight on the wheels to give them the grip to hold on a nearly vertical face - which it appears to be in the picture.
If yuo look at some of the tufts of grass in the nearground they look a little off vertical as well.
Dont get me wrong though, I agree that its impressive, even if the slope is closer to 60 degrees than the 80+ it appears to be.

YEA RIGHT!
A very fuzzy outline around the vehicle and all the grass seems to be growing at a horizontal angle.
The weight of that vehicle wouldnt allow an assent of that angle. It can be done but not in that.

Yeh but it does have sensors

Tend to agree with Russel...
Sensors are not sky-hooks, the pure physics doesn't add up... the front wheels would have marginal load on them, meaning the rears alone would be providing 80% or more of the traction - you think that's possible!
I'd say the camera has been twisted by about 15 degrees (judging by the dynamics and the trees)
What sort of tyres on those wheels, low profiles ATs?

I think the first shot is enhanced, you can see the camera angle tip back as the vehicle starts the climb. But it is still a steep climb.
I have always wanted to go to Moab, and drive the Lions Back. I think it is prohibited now.

Failed
Ascent
Procedure seems to be a mystery to that Landie driver - very, very lucky they didn't roll IMO
Perhaps yet another one not interested or not listening when he had the chance to learn and practice it...
