Can anyone shed some light on this leak i have please.

Thats not a leak... You're not having to mop it up off the floor!
More of a spring onion I would have said!

Anyhows... Looks like that small dribble you have is coming from the driveshaft seal. That would be gearbox oil then.

Looks like its been run over boulders - unless its a trick of the light. Mine leaks from there but never worked out how easy it is to get to the seal so its a job undone. Might be useful to have an extended thread on doing that job as the WIKI wasn't that clear and can't top up my gearbox until I've done it.

Trick of the light. Defo nothing missing. Someone said it might be the drive shaft seal. Not sure if its a big job tho. My gear box oil isnt going down. Was told it could be grease, also it dont smell like cat pi$$. Apparently the gear oil does???

Give it a good clean and have another look in a week or so of running around. Thats not a bad leak so you won't really notice the gear oil going down.
It does normally whiff a bit but that depends on what oil you have in the gearbox, some don't stink all that much!

gear oil from output flange seal a weep is permissable a real drip is too much to monitor oil level in box so should be sorted, seal from baxter a couple of quid, new circlip everytime 34p

Is it a bugger to get at or change?
