Bleedin Clutch

I had the clutch master cylinder replaced last Feb and now its leeking again and the res has dropped below the take off for the clutch, as its an expensive time of year I'm going to tackle this myself, I found some good info on the wiki so just a couple of quick questions.

1: what size spanner does the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple need. (smallest I have is an 8mm)
2:when pumping the clutch peddle when bleeding do you leave the res cap on or off.

Thanks folks

Mark

the clutch should bleed itself.

open the 8mm bleed on the slave and the fluid will flow without pumps
(keep the res topped)
I let mine run 1/4 litre out to change the fluid.

Cheers Kev, I'll try the self bleeding clutch in the morning, I take it you leave the res cap off then and just let it flow out
