Can the front crankshaft oil seal be changed without splitting the crank case? I know the other on the flywheel end can but cant see how i could do the other!

You can replace the front seal without splitting the case.I would advice looking at a Haynes manual cu 2ltr aircool.I replaced mine as the engine was out removed of its tinware.
