Reimo pop top fitment

Hi, recently bought a second hand Reimo pop top for my T3 bus.

It is currently wrapped up all snug in a tarpaulin in the garden, until I get some time and fair weather to fit it.

Can anyone offer any advise on the fitment. I have never attempted anything like this before, and cutting a whacking great hold in my roof is starting to feel a little daunting!

A local vw specialist has given me a ball park figure of £5-600 to fit, they havn't seen the roof yet but I thought this was maybe a little on the steep side, or am I underestimating the difficulty of the job?
I was thinking I would just need to re trim the cut out access hole or will i need to add any extra strengthening around it?

Also does anyone have any tips for working out where the hinges and gas struts will need to be fixed?

Cheers,

Ben

.If the roof has been cut for a high top or other allready this may cause problems .Regarding strengthing the devon side elevation roof for the T25 keeps the bow braces on the tin top .Ive not seen a reimo pop top so i carnt advice where you do the cuts if you see one allready fitted this will guide you.Good luck .
