My first choice would be to checkout your wheel bearings all round.
As what you've described is how my Doka sounded when I first got it and I thought it needed a gearbox rebuild the noise was that bad.......... :ok

Will have a look but replaced all the wheel bearings with simons best but will check again was thinking maybe a cv joint or even a possibly something to do with the shocks but not sure :?

I had a CV joint (rh front outer) mash up on me recently, the internal cage had disintegrated. I knew what it was, as I had heard it go twang at full lock.

At walking pace the noise was horrific (sounded like the van going through the crusher), speed up a bit and it was just audible, go into third and above and you wouldn't know anything was wrong. (I guess that was due to centrifugal forces separating the broken bits from the turning shaft)

Anyhow ...what I'm getting at is that from the way you describe it you might well be listening to the swan song of a CV joint.
