Can anyone tell where to get the screw in cap on transmission/flywheel casing
and what's it called?

Its on a Caravelle c 1.6td.
Also where is the gearbox filler located found the drain plug i think.

As you can tell still new to this lots more daft questions to ask.

Cheers spike

Spike,
If you can identify its location on an exploded transmission diagram such as Vagcat as used in the VAG commercial network, I think you will find nearly all the transmission cases made at that time tend to have the same size filler plugs/bungs , and the best bit is they usually have them in stock.

Thanks fritz

Went to vag commercial in Eastbourne to be told they don't make that part anymore I think they lie.

The vagcat site is great for exploded views thanks for that.

The part i'm looking for is a flywheel observation sealing plug if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Cheers and thanks agian fritz
