Have almost finished the out side of my van, the internals have been removed and destroyed as they were very poorly done. I am very handy at wood work and would like to make the insides myself. Does anyone have a set of plans or know where to get hold of some?

If your handy on the tools why not make your own from scratch thats what I did not that hard to do!

Could do but thought it would be quicker if someone had some, I would like to produce something similar to the Professional Van converters so copied dimensions would be good

theres some "Westy type" plans in the wiki http://www.80-90.co.uk/techhelp/pdfs/Westy.PDF and someone else recently got some Devon ones from somewhere, have search

the plans in link are not Westy plans, but are plans all the same.

You might also like to follow this guy as he provides some handy pointers and ideas. Its not a T25 but for self-builders, theres some neat ideas and good tips on how he made sections and fitted various odds and ends.

One thing to consider is not to make it out of heavy materials.. A chap came on here some time ago after making his interior out of oak he had lying around, very nice job, but it leaned A LOT (near the stops on one side).. and didnt like the responses he got.. it prob was near the gross vehicle weight too.. so you couldnt add food and people...

I have plans for a 3/4 bed setup, with wardrobe, cupboards and box over the engine.

Even plywood can be heavy. Avoid MDF at all costs. I came up with a very lightweight way to make panels by running 1" square lengths of timber over a circular saw (lengthwise) with the saw set to 1/4" - that then gives you a recess and if you glue cut lengths into frames, you can slot hardboard in (bit like a drawer base) to make very strong but light sections which can be fixed together to make box-like constructions. My buddy seat was made that way. Couldn't come up with a lighter method but rule of thumb is not to make heavy panels where they are simply not needed. Most of the top end T25 campers are extraordinarily heavy. They look nice yes but add a lot to your fuel consumption...
