Hi, just bought a Holdsworth solid side elevating roof (fleabay again...must stop going there...) for my Syncro panel van.

Right, now I've bought it I suppose I need to put it on, so does anyone anyone know how to fit these please ? :D Its a full length unit

Yes, I assume that you cut a big hole in the van roof and drop the unit on top, probably bonding the outer bit with sikaflex (?) but beyond that I'm guessing. Do they have roof beds or bed boards ? (I don’t particularly need or want them - just looking for headroom without a high top....)

All suggestions welcome, pictures of your existing conversion even more so...

Thanks, John :ok

Hi

I also have one of these to fit, and have the same scenario, I also have to `re-make' the top bit as it has collapsed (wet chipboard!!), this isn't much of a problem as I am quite handy with GRP and I reckon I can make a `better than standard' one'.

I probably wont be fitting mine untill spring, but If you want a hand to do yours, I may be able to shoot down and assist, (work/time permitting) I am in Leicester.

It may be beneficial to have 2 lots of `no ideas' instead of 1!!

It can't be that difficult!

let me know
