Thanks to Kooldubs I am now the proud owner of a high top which I shall be putting onto my van.

The moulding is still attached to the steel roof.

whats the best way of removing it, just hard careful work or is the a solvent option ?

cheers

hard work, a big bolster chisel sharpened to knife like and you can cut through the bonding from the inside 4" at a time, a cheese wire type cutter for the corners may be required but these can easily go off course and cut into the fibreglass

Different folks fitted the roofs with different stuff. Our Yorkshire Conversions is held on with fibreglass matting and resin, others use Tigerseal or Sikaflex or similar.
