Why is there a piece of dowel there?
It's loosely wedged into a hole in the ?flywheel housing? (im no mechanic). There's a couple of nails to stop it going in too far and a bit of wire tying it to the engine.
Should i be worried?

If it is good enough for Noddy and Big Ears in Toytown it should be good enough for our vans.
