no spark

just fitted dg motor to a friends van (early one) but cannot get it running. no spark. i have checked that there is power to the coil and to the distributor, tested with a bulb. all seems to be the same as my van. what am i doing wrong?

yes engine turns over ok, also checked earth. hows the bike going?

Double check earths. My problem yesterday was an earth problem so i had to file some powder coat off.

i think i will give up and get it towed to pauls, all seems correct, another pair of eyes on it may help, i keep retrying the same things over and over and had enough of it now. only doing it as a favour.
