syncro truck mirrors

can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what way these bloody mirrors go on.
is it with the fixing nut on the back of the mirror part faceing the van,makeing them stick out more.or is it tother way?
you can really see alot more with these cant you.

Shiney side where you can see you own reflection facing towards van Jed I think you will find is the right way

well you definatley have them on inside upwards sidedown and back to front

Some peeps like them so they stick out more, others like them fixed so the are more inside the bracket.

There is no right way, look inside yourself and you will know how to proced.
Well you'd probably be better looking out the window and seeing which you prefer.

Well if it were me I would mount them both in (you did realise that you could mount one out and one in didn't you?) as I have already squished my little mirror on the near side off a bus in a lane dispute and my off side mirror I keep bumping the tree outside my house with. In may restrict the view but does reduce the risk a bit.

they are on in the outmost position at the moment but they look jug eared.but if they are fitted on the inmost position you get all the wrighting crap showing on the outside edge.if i cant get this sorted soon ill have to pm mr hell as his kind words good manors and charm usually sort these things out

Honestly, some folk have them out, some in and some have them in and out on diferent sides. The last time it came up I don't think anyone could figure out what the origional intention of VAG had been.

its in the moulding on the edge if you have them in the inmost position.i shouldnt care really as all the dents in my bodywork takes your eye away from it.
