I understand Bosch do some LPG specific plugs
has anybody used them
I need to change my Plugs normally use WR7DC gapped to 0.6mm

Never bothered with them I've always used the WR7's with never an issue.
Thing is I use both fuels so a fuel specific plug would be trouble

My uncle has just got some of these direct from Bosch, they told him he's the first person in the UK to do so! He's waiting to see what the performance difference is, he reckons it is smoother though.

Anyone else got anything to say about this? Apparently a polish firm make some too, has anyone tried them?

Am interested in hearing how the work out. Might be worth doing. How much do they cost?

He managed to get hold of 8 for £7 each. Which isn't at all bad for specially imported.

Mostly used the bosch triple electrode plugs, with a little advance on the timing..
Where I did use an alternative I gapped to 0.8...

Prob done 150k miles on LPG in the bus.. most plugs were left in for 40k+, dizzy cap/rotor every 20k,Hella ign leads, never had an ignition related issue..

How do you find those plugs? I thought the recommendation was for single point plugs with a 25 thou gap?

That's interesting Simon, will try the Bosch Triple electrodes on LPG. Have a brand new set but was told not really suitable for LPG as it needs a concentrated spark so fitted re-gapped NGK single elctrodes (which could do with replacing now).

The WR7DC+ are listed by Bosch as being developed with LPG in mind anyway. The only change would be to go to Platinum WR7K133S which are the ones that aren't available in the UK. But it seems that as long as you are happy regapping the WR7DC+ every now and again they are almost as good, even if they need replacing a bit more often.

Read the brochure Mirams but can someone please clarify the correct combination of leads and plugs. Reading that seems to suggest that plugs with resistors (WR's, etc) should be used with plain copper HT leads and plugs without resistors should use HT leads with resistive conductors. Otherwise fitting resistive HT leads with resistive plugs will reduce the HT voltage which is not ideal for LPG according to the test data published. Is that correct or I have I got that bit wrong?
