Coolio, my haynes is at the unit and i don't fancy a trip to go get it. Both of the CV's bolts were finger tight when i took it off

You should see your beetle now, it has a shiney heater channel and front 1/4 on drivers side! No pictures from friday as keep forgetting the camera and lighting is no good for phone camera.

Is is as good as the missus one? Just priced up doing a resto on it for my mates son to use once he passes his test, panels alone come to £480. But he does want everything that looks remotely rusty replaced so he has no problem areas for the near future.

PS gearbox is all back together and with some help from the wiki old spigot bearing is out just gotta put new one in tomorrow and fingers crossed i'll be cruising in the van again soon :D

Wahey, all up and running again. Well nearly, somehow managed to lose a wheel nut :? the clutch needs more bleeding (poor rachaels leg was about to fall off though!). But it does now work, tis getting treated to a service and might even set the chokes up tomorrow. Not been to work today as needed the van sorting for tomorrow, got to clear out my garage ready for some trains to arrive in prep for FIL moving.
