New boy!

Hello people! Brilliant forum, loving it!
My name is Mark, I know I haven't updated my profile with pictures or anything like that just yet, but I promise I will get round to it this weekend.
As I say, my name is Mark, I am 23 from East Yorkshire. I have owned my lovely VW T25 high top (in horrible burgandy brown) for about 2 weeks now. She is in need of a little restoration (will also take some pix of her this weekend) but other than that I love it!!

I know I'm jumping straight in with a question but something has been on my mind since I bought it. The guy that I bought it off mentioned that he never needed to use the bed in the roof so he just used it for storage, but he explained at one point it would roll out like a drawer and turn into a double bed.
Looking at mine, I can kinda see where it would have rolled out (past the two side roof windows), but am struggling to see which part of the bed is missing, and even if I did know which part was missing, how it would all connect together.
Does anybody have a pic of what the roof bed should look like when pulled out and when closed so I can get on with this job. Sorry if I am asking a lot, even a good explination of how the upper bed should work would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advanced and nice to meet you all =)
-Mark xoxo

Hiya, welcome to the club.

Depending what conversion it is (or if it's a screwfix special like our's) will depend how the roof bed works ... most have a fabric covered board (or a couple) which slide out along a track or shelf. A picture's worth a thousand words etc. Post a piccie and someone will know the answer. :ok There's advice on how to post photos in the Wiki bit at the top of the page.

Hello and welcome to the club :D . As Ian says, a picure speaks a thousand words. Alternatively, which conversion it is.
