Mr Pickles that bag of Clive's goodies can come back to me somehows, I gave him some more to save them the trip to Bradford in the rain and dark.

Yes, many thanks again to Kev and Simon for an interesting and enjoyable weekend.
Must get a couple of spare Colways MTs though just in case I pop a tyre again.
Interestingly, although I had to reverse back down the rock strewn lane after popping a tyre there was no apparent damage to the VW rim - I wonder how a chocolate Merc rim would have fared.

Cracking weekend, New project worked well
Thanks Kev especially for the last deep water crossing where diesel power performed (again), LandRovers came down with the current and we went up against the current. Pictures and hopefully a bit of video to follow.

Many thanks Simon for hosting Saturday and Kev for getting it all organised again... fantastic scenery all around again, with plenty of sideshows for trick practice.
Shame your group had a bit of bad luck two days running, I shan't mention the fordings that you missed, as you watched them from on high... Ok I shall, some mighty impressed peeps down there and lots of big smiles all round after powering through against deep choppy 20kt current... (drat, missed the best picture of all, Pete straying in't river with massive bow wave)
Diesels rule the waves, OK
PS Doug. A few chocolate wheels got a bit bent again, but didn't stop us from getting to the finishing line... (we had to refuse to tell Andy your whereabouts until the urge to come and
'do that puddle' had subsided)

Only since he started it (speaking from experience

But in the meantime I have been pushing the boundaries of 'offroadability' for the T4 syncro!

Indeed, trailblazing actually... the sump underbody shield seemed to be working well, doubling as a '...where's Doug sound location beacon'

Cheers for the rather fun weekend, especally Simon for saturdays venue and Kev for the routes!
Was interesting to see how well my standard [diesel

] van coped with no front drive at all. A bit of a shame sundays rain restricted our play a bit.
I should be back to 4wd for next time, maybe even with a working front locker.
