New dipstick

Hey guys, we were just wondering if anyone nows whre we can buy a new oil dpstic from for our T25?? It's hadan engine transplant and now has a passat engine 1.9 turbo diesel. The dipstick weve lost is the one behind the reg plate so is that the T25 one or the passat one lol?

surely the dipstick for the passat engine is in a different place....the one behind the number plate flap is for a t25 engine?? is the passat one in the same place then?

lol sorry if that was confusing. Yes the one for the passat engine is in the engine bay but its the one behind the number plate that we're trying to replace, hope that makes more sense, any ideas where I can get one??

Isn't the old one long enough to reach the oil?

just re-fill with 4.5 litres of oil and re-mark the dipstick.. and get used to opening the engine lid to check the oil

o ok, this probably sounds silly but is it ok to use the one in the engine?? I didnt know if that was any use or not lol
