Hi all.

have bought my second T25 now and want to lower this one properly. Have set of 4 x 60mm and 4 x 70mm springs allready but which shocks should I go for? Spoke to couple people at shows etc and they said you have to change shocks to lower it. Looking on Just Kampers and they sell HYDRO TECH ALCO x 4 set for £100. Unsure whether they just the same though. Any help appreciated as usual/thanks

Have been told to disconnect shocks and lower on springs measuring distance between upper and lower shock mounts then buy correct size shocks for half the cost of gas ones. Answering my own questions now. Is lowering a bit of a taboo on here then?lol

Certainly not a taboo. Chickenkoop and I regularly go out on runs - his is lowered, mine isn't. Hes quicker on corners than me but I can sail over speed humps without a care. Gains to be had both ways although lowering has costs associated with it ofcourse.

lowered mine and didnt change the shocks so im not sure ya need to, mines been fine for a few months now so id say ya dont? newer shocks would be nice purely for a less springy ride but not essential.

By the way, where did ya get the grill eyebrow cover for the your van, looks nice and moody !!!
