Has any one ever considered importing a Syncro from S.A Or would the costs out price the value of the vehicle?
Does anyone have any contacts in S.A for such if it's already been done.

Try Scott at
http://www.vwclassics.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; he told me about a 2004 T3 syncro he knew of in south africa when I was looking for a syncro.

Dokas, panel vans and single cabs where never available in SA.
Any syncro after 1992 from SA is not a VW factory syncro.
Import costs and shipping make it not viable.

Shipping alone would cost about £2000 and I imagine the parts issues would be even more difficult
