Its no as complicated as some might think. We bought a kit from ebay £600 fitted it my self over 2or 3 weekends. Probebly cost £100 in nuts bolts and tools i didnt have. Had a local guy do the inspection £50 and away we go. Bin runing her as a daily drive for over a year bin to france and scotland no problems doing around 30 mpg ish

Hi If your the sort of person who might fit central heating yourself or have a go at plumbing Lpg conversion is not that hard. When we bought are van she had a newish engine that probley helps with the mpg plus i drive like im on holliday all the time (this does upset other road users at times) Even if you get it done by a pro you will get your money back. Plus ive never driven a diesel.

likewise, i fitted the kist myself. took a bit of headscratching at times and then got it commissioned by a lpg conversions place here in derby - her charged £50 which included a safety inspection with certificate - this is what your insurance company need.

Commuting up hill and down dale 180 miles on 50 litres, long distance motorway runs 205 on 50. That's honest.
