Hi..I'm the new owner of an 1986 T25 Joker with a 1.6TD engine and I have a few questions for starters!

I have no idea about these engines (have always been into Series Landrovers) so was wondering what sort of milage they are good for if kept in good order? mines done 220k kms and seems to be running & pulling well.

I've had a look around for a manual for this engine but can seem to find anything BUT the 1.6TD - anyone know where I can get a factory manual or at the very least a Haynes for this engine?

Was this engine used in other VWs such as Golfs etc?
