Hi, I have bought my first t25 last weekend and I have a few problems allready :(
The dashboard lights are on when my lights are switched on and my engine is off, but as soon as the engine starts, the lights go out and i can't see my speedo etc at night, the dim swith is turned up.
My heating is also on full heat regardless of where i set the temperature.
and.... my sterio doesnt work, i have tried different ones to eliminate the possibilty of mine being broken.

My question is... are they linked together or is it just bad luck i have all 3 not working? by the way, my cig lighter works ok.

I havn't got my haynes book yet and im not very good mechanically  , my dad is a pro but is away on holiday for 3 weeks and i really could do with getting it fixed as i hope to go away next week :)

I have a 1988 bus i think, two sliding doors, tin top.
It has a 1.9 liquid cooled (78ps)

lights = might be a faulty dim resistor, or loose wire / blown fuse / corroded fuse holder from/to the resistor
heater = takes a very long time to respond to hot/cold lever anyway... also the control cables/flaps might be seized
stereo = check for loose wire / blown fuse / corroded fuse holder

its probably just bad luck they're all gone together, unless someone has really made a terrible bit of diy wiring in there.
