Hi, Ive been having a bit of a sort out of the shed today and i found a RHS Heat Exchanger control pod, which I got for my old US spec Beetle Cabrio (now sold) The question is is this the same type of control pod which was fitted to the early air cooled T25s and could it be used on them as well as my old Beetle.

looks similar but I suspect the diameter of the pod will be different to theT25

Thanks dugcati, does anyone know the diameter of the T25 pod...The one I've got(looking at the first picture) is 60mm(outside measurement) for bothsides or the pod... Mark

ah... just spotted - these wont work/fit as they are 90 degree and CT engines are pass-through -you would need to do a lot of chopping or extending/tweaking of the flexible pipework if you got these to fit a CT exchanger.....


Or do you have a plan to use CT exchangers on a bug?
