squeaky ride

Whenever I go over a bump - or even drive down a relatively uneven strtch of road - the suspension squeaks loudly.
Is this 'normal'?
Does anyone else get this problem?
Is there anything that can be done to correct this?

More than likely top wishbone bushes need replacing, although it has been rumoured that the spare wheel rubbing on the cage makes a similar sound.Mine was the wishbon bushes.

there's quite a few bushes that can squeek on the steering bits. Brickyard does polybush replacements for them all.

Nope! Don't think he does... them, all!

Track control arm/lower wishbone inner
The arb bushes (to chassi)
The arb bdrop-arm bushes (damping rings)
Rack Bushes

Not sure he does the upper wishbone inner bushes, but it'll be those squeaking i expect., watch the in-car syncro videos from CF3, mine certainly has got it bad now, didn't do it last year, probably too much jacking it up and down over the winter :)

I'm guessing that the noise is from the top-end of the suspension - it seems to be almost directly beneath the seat. (Of course it's hard to tell when you're driving along in the thing...)

I'll have to get it somewhere where I can see what's going on.

That will almost certainly be those top wishbone bushes, but by getting someone to jack the front up with a trolley jack while you're at the wheel, you can check, not sure if the anti-roll-bar bushes can squeak, don't think so.

squeak

i have the exact same noise in mine goes away when cold prob because rubber hardens up

if we change these bushes will the suspension need to have the camber re adjusted

i dont any one who can actually adjust camber and other settings in birmingham most people just do straight tracking

If you note and refit the eccentric pin the same as i came out, I think it should be good enough.

Stupid comment but make sure your spae wheel is properly located.
The spare can move around a bit making a squeeking noise.

It's not stupid at all - if that's what's making the noise.
