As it says really.
I'm just having some 2WD springs made at the moment, so I dragged out my spreadsheet of spring specs, bit scetchy on some of the details but I did notice something interesting and I'm sure I heard PC52 mention it but it was a while back.
In basic terms, a coil spring, the thicker the wire the firmer the spring, but also coupled to the length of the spring, so a longer spring (more coils) is also usually softer (as it'a basically a torsion bar, but coilled up.)
Looking at spring specs here then a syncro front spring is..
320mm in height, and made from 16mm wire
Whereas a HD 2WDspring is
339mm in height, and made from 18mm wire
Basically, taller and firmer, like I say, the setails I have are a little scetchy, but I do have both of these in stock so i will check the amount of coils tommorow.
I reckon that should give about an inch lift at the front (about 25mm-ish)
