Hi

There are Westy plans in the wiki, under the "Conversions" heading depending on the level of your project and wether you want to keep to Devon specs

I think that the idea is to give food for thought especially the sizes & drawings. The material shown is a bit crappy but again it shows us poor folks what can be done without shelling out £thousands on a factory built job. I would appreciate any other drawings with sizes-preferrably in English- if anybody has any.

Jake, some factory built campers were/are made of same 'wheatabix' material. Sorry if I offended as that was not my intent. Am a joiner by profession and build bespoke products for a living. On occasion have had to use above material in THE past and now refuse to us it as material starts failing before product can be completed. The movement and moisture we deal with in our campers make 'wheatabix' totally unsatisfactory for application. MDF is only slightly more expensive but much stronger. I wouldn't use it myself, but it is usually solid and strong enough to do the job. Solid birch plywood is about twice as much as 'wheatabix' and is very good product. We are talking £20 for 18mm 'wheatabix' and £35 for 15mm birch ply per 8'x4' sheet... approximately 3 sheets will build an interior.

Hi Lloyd, no offence taken mate. Actually I enjoy the banter on here :D Glad you mentioned the mdf as usable as that was the stuff I thought of using.
Any Plans in English anybody? handwritten would do.
