is it easy to fit a rev counter ?

wat is 'green = CB from coil ' too?

easy on a petrol, straight on to the coil , diesel you need a take off on the alternator, im sure on mine the black and green are on the plus and minus of the coil " i think" its a while since i fitted it ...

CB could be 'Contact Breaker'. Not too sure though! :D
I wired mine into pin 7 on the TCI unit. Not normally connected so could require a seperate wire but it gives a lower output which is what I needed for my rev counter.

If your van has the 'buzzer of doom' DOPs circuit (post 86 onward Diesel and Petrol) then all wiring is available at the multiconnector under ther dash. Most are as follows but always best to check yor model against year and colour codes.

Pin 1 Panel lights
Pin3 Earth
Pin 8 +12v
Pin 9 Rpm Signal from coil/alternator

To coil terminal with wire from distributor... It's for rpm sensing for rev counter. :wink:

@ AngeloEvs, mines an 87 and yes it does have the buzzer of doom, ive heard it in the flesh........ /shudder
