Covering a Shabby Gearstick

Thought i'd share this as it seems to have worked. Was looking for something to tidy up my gearstick, in the end i bought some shrink tube from frost and it worked out quite nicely.....what do you think?

Most of the imports I see seem to have a nice black sleeve over their metal stick, I've never noticed one on a UK van.

12mm heat-shrink sleeve does it too Simon......10 minutes to work it down et voila.

I too have done a heat shrink job on my stick - seemed easier than all that painting malarky.

i used this on mine

not because the stick was shabby, but to hide the wires to the PTT switch that run up the stick....
