KYB damper adjustment - same as a koni?

Decided that the wagen is just a tad too firm after Vanfest and recent motoring (sore neck and lumbar spine!), so need to back off the KYB's up front as well as check the classic konis at the back. Thing is, I don't know that the KYB's are gas/adjustable or not. All came on the van as bought. :?
Do I need to take them off to find out? They are silver painted. Is there a part numbe somewhere?
(FYI Springs front and rear are green H&R's, front looks about - 50, rear about std. can't find part numbers, might be specials)
Also out on another forum...

KYB's aren't adjustable.
Konis need removing to adjust.

Ta for that. Will check that it's not on or too close the bumpstops then.
Might be lower than I first thought. Tape measure time.
