Probably some use to some of you lot - JX turbo feed.

Just had them remade and I now have a healthy supply sat on the shelf
CDS tube CNC bent to shape supplied with 2 olives, 2 tube nuts and a P clip to fasten it down with.
The fit is 100% perfect and if it wasn't for the colour difference on the tube nuts you wouldn't tell it from a genuine one.
I know technically not just a specific syncro part but useful never the less.

You are bloody kidding, I just went around about 5 or 6 places yesterday trying to get one of these made.

Landed at teatime, on website about an hour later.

Only slightly more expensive than VW too.

By-the-by as they have gone obsolete!

..hence me bothering to get them re-made!
And the fact that i use them quite a lot and the last ones from VW (yes, I bought them all..) that I had were dwindling fast!

So long as you use the JX exhaust/turbo/manifold set up and take the threaded adapter from the JX filter housing and add it to the AAZ on, pipe will then require a small amount of bending to get it to fit, but nothing that is going to damage it, we do it all the time.

Can anyone tell me if the JX filter housing is the same as the AAZ is the same as the 1Y? I'm looking for the adapter piece that goes from the housing to the turbo oil feed pipe. I have an adapter that is M12x1.5 to M14x1.5 and I have a housing that needs a M10x1! Is there such a thing as a M10x1 to M14x1.5 adapter, if so anyone got one spare?, or do I have the wrong filter housing (1Y item)? Steve

No it isn't.
Just drill and tap the filter head, or you can buy the fitting you need from VW, but I would prefer to drill and tap.

Thanks - I ended up drilling and tapping as you suggested. Steve
