Hi guys,

Whilst borrowing my Dad's T25 Autosleeper conversion last week, I noticed that he uses a peice of 1"x2" wood to keep the sliding window above the sink closed, and to prevent it from being opened from the outside.

How 'should' it be kept secure? Surely not everyone uses a piece of wood ?!?

I drilled a small whole in the inner metal frame (careful not to hit the glass) and got a mini padlock to fit it -a small bolt of the right size would probably do as well . Jack

Kirries idea is a good one

Getting into an old camper is easy.
just be mindful of that, before you spend large amounts of coin on the wood replacement.

Kirrie any chance you could post a photo of your fix. i currently use a wooden wedge...............

I was thinking about break-ins the other day, it would seem that all anyone has to do is cut around a seal to gain entry just like with VW cars of the same era

Well, for sure I do, wedged into the track and cut 1 inch shorter to give 1/2" of ventilation without removing all the time

Small hole drilled then use a nail or pop rivet.

I would think that ANY pre bonded window era vehicle would be a piece of p155 to get into, not just VW's
