Just use a small tank for your diesel - I do on mine (an outboard fuel tank) as I run on waste vegetable oil which mucks up diesel heaters.
Don't get too focused on eberspaechers - webastos are just as good, easier to come by and spares are easier to obtain. If you are handy with a soldering iron, transistors, diodes and relays you can run a 24v one - which are usually cheaper to buy. ( I use 24v ones in two vans and a boat all with 12v electrics).
