Wiring diagram wanted

I went out to start the van yesterday and...

...nothing, not even a click.

This morning I took the main battery (behind driver seat (RHD)) to give it a charge.
I've just been out to get some tools from the van and noticed that the clock is still working.
This gives rise to two questions:

1. Have I taken the correct battery out?
2. If I have removed the correct battery, how is the clock still working?

There are a few suspect wiring 'mods' in my van so I'm wondering if somewhere in the dim and distant past a previous owner has rewired various bits so that they run off the leisure battery.

Has anyone out there got a decent wiring diagram that they could send to me, please? I'd like to check everything out over the weekend if possible and standardise as much as I can.

Ta muchly. :)

Give us a few little clues as to what conversion you have.
Do you have a petrol or oil burner?
Oil burners have the battery in the engine bay.

It sounds a bit like the split charge relay (if fitted) is energised (or stuck)

Sorry:
It's a 2.1 DJ Reimo conversion fitted with a CF8 Zig unit.

The starter solenoid is probably stuck (the piggy back thing on top of the motor) try giving it a tap or take it off and clean it.
A common thing I've been told

Mine did the same, turned out to be a completely dead starter

Thanks, chaps.
I'll give the starter motor and solenoid a going over today.
