has anyone fitted one of these.... if so how have you fitted it, from leisure battery ect...
going to re do my 25 over the winter and looking at fitting one of these. whats the best screen to use, flip down, pc monitor ect....
trying to get as much in at a budget to be honest.
any feedback and suggestions would be great

If you open up the 240v ps2 there is a circuit board that converts it to 12v take that out and wire to the 12 piont!

When we had ours, we used to use an inverter and plug straight in off the leisure battery. Worked fine

Can never understand that (unless you wnt to use it in house after) Your converting 12v to 240 then back to 12v wasting loads of power!

Thats how we used it.
Take it out the house and put it in the van when going away. Then put it back in house when we have finished using it. Plug it in to mains when hooked up on site. Plug it into leisure battery when drving along. Happy days
If its staying in the van permantely then I guess the 12v conversion is ideal.

I used an inverter purely for the same reasons. Have had kids since so don't know if the PS3 has a 12v socket be a PS4 by the time they need a new one I hope!

ive got both, but to be honest i think the normal ps2 will fit better being that it has a side cd drawer rather than a flip up. think a pc monitor is gonna be the way to go as well as a larger flip down is gonna be mega bux i think.

cool, seem them 12v ps2 transformers on ebay for about £7..... think im gonna hard wire it in to be honest..... another thing is i have an untested mains hook up on the van, if that works i mayby will look at getting a cheap gennie and run everything off the mains

Unless its a quiet gennie I don't think other campers around you will be to impressed
Ive got a gennie,its 2k and old but very noisy.
