water proofing canvas

i've managed to get a tin of thompson's water seal from work. do you know, what is the best way to apply it to the canvas?

Any old or new plastic hand sprayer like those gardeners use and household cleaners come in :ok

Not best to breath mist so a cheap dust mask will suffice....

I thought Thompsons water seal was for bricks :?

Same difference stops the porosity by plugging the gaps with a silicone that is left behind when the carrier evaporates... (I think??)

Anyway its tried and tested by me with great results :ok :ok

Top tip, wear gloves and pour what you don`t spray back into the can :roll: :wink:
