thing is how many complaints have been posted about elite.not many, that i can think of.and quite a few on here have their engines.(not me though) and they do offer a good guarantee..

Are their engines repaired rather than reconditioned? They do offer a guarantee AFAIK and quite a few on here have been happy with them.

27,000 miles since mayday 2008 ... so far nothing to report.
Rumour has it that they had a bad batch of pushrod tube seals ... which they paid to have replaced under warranty ... I'm sure they weren't the only people to suffer from this bad batch. Our's were fine BTW.
Ian.

I have an elite engine, No Probs what so ever.
They are cheaper, as the sell 3 times as many as its nearest competitor.
And you get a 2 year/24k warranty.

When mine needs replacing I will be using them. Seen more positives than negatives and thats good enough for me.

mines there at the moment.........got sent there via the garage I use, I didn't realise it was going to Elite. He was going to send just the engine but they insisted on the whole van going - makes sense to me. I'll report back. There's a 500 mile service that you need to adhere to but then the warranty is for 12K miles or 1 year whichever comes first.

Had mine for just over 3 years now - no problems - just had my clutch replaced by them as well - they're about the only people I've come across I trust
