Right guys i have spoken to a local company about making some metal water pipe like the one pictured below, it seems that vw don't make this part any more neither do any aftermarket companies, i don't know price as yet because the more he supplies the cheaper they'll be but tbh i need one regardless so price doesn't really come in to it for me.

I would not even hesitate to have a few made up and simply keep hold of them till someone needs one, but make it known you have some spares available.

I can now get these made to order for £60 + p&p which should be about £5
