Alright i'm currently in the middle of changing my carbs to weber ict's. the orginal carbs used 8mm pipes the new ones are more suited to 6mm. should i just leave all the pipes 8mm or change the whole system to 6mm? or( ) should i run an 8mm pipe from the tank and then 6mm pipes to the carbs? reason i ask is i'm wondering if the diameter of the pipes has a big effect on fuel delivery and pressure?

I think you'd have to be drinking fuel for the 6-8mm difference to make any real difference. Go for what fits well.
