Lowering Rear of my 1987 T25 Panel Van

Have bought a beautiful e plate T25 Panel van on 17's in Gunmetal Grey and bought 50mm lowering springs from Ebay. Sadly though, these have made no difference at all to my eye and it still looks like its far too high. We have made plates up to sort front out which I'm happy with but is there a cheap and easy way to sort the rear out? I want it done asap as she is begging now!
Thanks in Advance for any help
Tony

Check for any paint marks on the springs if they are correct @ -50mm they should have one blob of yellow to indicate this.

PS, cavalier rear springs have been known to be used as alternatives.
