flywheel locking for clutch bolts

how do you lock the flywheel so you can do up the clutch/flywheel bolts properly(Torqued)

There are fancy tools available to hold everything while you do the deed, but us mere mortals tend to get a mate to hold things with a decent pair of gloves OR even jam the ring gear with either a good jemmy or a block of wood.

The clutch pressure plate bolts shouldnt need to be soo tight that the engine wont hold it.. (They are only M7 IIRC) But there are a couple of holes on the back of the flywheel (WBX) where you can insert a bolt to hold it.

Flywheel bolts, thats a different matter.. these need to be a lot tighter.. but you wouldnt have got them undone if you didnt have the flywheel locking tool.. :wink:
