Questions, questions.

Hi all I am a born again T25 owner, had my last one a long while ago and it ran up the bills like no tommorow. Well the family is expanding 2yr old and another on the way,so for better or worse I have taken the plunge and now own a 1990 l/h drive Bluestar multivan Hanover Edition 1.6TD that seems to be in half decent nick.(I hope!)
Now for the questions.
I have the original manuals but they are in German. Can you get English versions?
Re the above I seem to have a heater thingy under the rear seat how do I work it? When is it supposed to work? Engine running or not?
Where can I get another Hanover edition small round badge on wing? have the surround but centre bit missing.
Have a bit of rust on dash and at bottom of windscreen pillar inside. Whats best way to sort it? Can it be done without removing the screen?
What are the best workshop manuals for her? Haynes do not seem to do one for the watercooled 1.6 diesel or have I missed something?
I would like to fit a box inside where the removable doorseat is. Any ideas on putting a gas stove in such a box? Best types/makes. Do I go marine or just bog standard camping?
Lastly not technical but will ask it anyway I have seen another Bluestar in Weymouth is that any of you guys?
Promise no mores q's for a while. Cheers Steve

Basic 1.6D maintenance is in the Bentley, but not specifically the TD.
Maybe read through the WIki, there's a fair bit on diesels so guffing up on that might answer a few questions to start with

The heater under the rear seat, is it in the centre with a pair of rubber coolant hoses going to it? If so, there should also be a fan speed switch left of the heater controls on the dash. Belts out an absurd amount of heat with the engine up to temp!

If the box has Eberspacher or Webasto anywhere on it, it is another beast altogether... I say that as it may work fine... or not!

If you can figure out how to post a picture or two up here it would help.

:ok

apparently this is very common. I've got the same and asked the guy at the garage today about doing mine and he said it would be about £250 and yes it's a screen out job. The further up the pillar the rust goes the more expensive it gets.....apparently. Unfortunately I had the screen out about 3 weeks ago for a new screen and saw the problems that are hidden under there.....
