i'm thinking over the idea of an LPG conversion on my Aircooled devon, i know gasure do the job but i was wondering if there is anyone in the midlands that does this conversion at a decent price & does a top job!

or...... can i do the conversion myself, i'm pretty proficiant in the mechanics on my vehichles & have done a fair bit on my bus, fitting up gas items such as my hob/fridge & propex heater & all work well with no leaks! had them checked by a local women thats corgi registered & she thought whati've done is very professional

my bus is my daily driver so more econamy would be a bonus

i think the gas has to be heated on an Aircooled??????

plz advise me what way to go, i dont mind doing the work myself to make it cheaper but if i could have it done for a resonable price that would be a bonus, i'm asking two local places but if anyone can recommend places in the midlands or ppl in or close to talk to

if possible could someone list the parts i would need if i decide on a DIY conversion?????

If you look through the threads on lpg you will see the same name again and again.... gasure


You can get kit's and DIY but to be fair byt the time you buy it/fit it and then take down to an lpg bod to get it certificated (to satisfy your insurance company) your only saving around £100-£200......

Im in the Midlands and I go to Gasure.
Stick to the best, and a good price

just go to gasure and know it will work properly. there are many horror stories about troublesome gas convertions but they are never gasure ones

my 81 Aircooled van is at Gasure at the moment. and it was a 3hr drive to get there, and 5hr train ride back.

for me its about piece of mind.

try reading through almost anywhere with regard to LPG conversions and i have yet to find anyone who has a bad word to say about Gasure. nuff said

Fitting may well be within your boundaries. However, setting it up to run efficiently whether using gas or petrol is another ball game in my opinion.
Gasure every time. Forget about using any other company. I'm Gasure LPG'd and I live in Kent.
