Power Management System

I've got one of these in my van:

I understand how most of it works, but haven't used the mains hook up yet (but will be next week).

When I'm using mains power, does the battery switch need to be in the off/middle position? With the charger supply switch, does this need to be turned on - as I'm guessing this will charge the batteries, but do I need to turn it off when the batteries are full?

Any advice appreciated - it's all new to us!

Cheers,

Ben

Unfortunately it's not a 'Zig' which is what most folk have BUT if it works the same - once hooked-up, the charger switch should be 'on', the battery switch depends which battery you want to charge; 'Car' should be your starter battery, 'van' should be your leisure battery. The camper electrics should run off it regardless of which battery you select to charge I think although they might be connected straight to the leisure battery.

I can't help but notice there's a phone number on it albeit an old one - tried ringing it??

Cheers. I thought that that would probably be the case. Many thanks for the advice, Ben
