Who used their Syncro this week end?

Well, for once I took the Syncro out to the woods for a barb-a-que with Mrs Nice & some friends. It was great to use it after driving lowered cars all the time. A flat out run through a stream crossing the road made a big splash & lots of smiles. We took a short cut through a green lane on the way home too.

While we were there, a few hot air balloons were close by. One landed about 100 yards from where we were parked up. It was a precision landing in the trees! We helped fold the 'Envelope' as he called it back in to it's bag so they could be on their way. The balloon chaser recognised me too. It's a small world.

I took the van out the other night too, we sat & watched the sun go down & the moon appeared from nowhere.

So who else did stuff?

Hey Peasant ...... Is that legal? Most access points in Wicklow are blocked off now by Coilte.

Yepp ..that one's commonage. There's a gate, but it's not locked.
But like any Irish mountain top it's not really an off-road challenge. You've got a somewhat worn access road to the turf beds that you could possibly still drive with a 2WD and some skill and the real off-road bit is bog where no vehicle can go (nor should go because of the damage that would cause)

Nice view though

Yes, the road stars at Glencar, that's Truskmore in the background (with the antennas)
