went to halfwits today to buy some engine oil.so i bought their 15w 40 advanced mineral oil.on getting home i noticed it says."suitable for most non fuel injected engines since 1980" now my 2.1 is fuel injected.so what to do? my main question is. what has the fuel delivery system got to do the engine oil.

why does the 2.1 have an oil cooler ?

more modern engines run more modern oils and will all be injected, halfwits are I guess using at as shorthand for older/modern

but Rob Halfwits be about 3x cost for oil as gsf and your local vw place

mark.im not putting semi synth in mine.only mineral.it was £16 from halfrauds.so i can live with that...

yes Rob should be fine i wouldnt worry i use detergant oil in mine cleans everything including seals
